This custom 5’ x 5’ curbless shower was designed for a newly built home in Thamesville, Ontario for both modern style and everyday comfort.

Built into a new home, the space combines clean lines, large-format tile, and seamless waterproofing to create a spa-like retreat.

The shower floor and lower walls are finished with oversized 24” x 28” tile, giving the space a bold, minimal look with fewer grout lines and a smooth, open feel. The upper half of the shower is wrapped in textured, stone-inspired tile, adding depth and contrast while keeping the design timeless and natural.

With a fully curbless entry, the shower flows seamlessly from the bathroom floor — no step, no barrier — just a sleek, accessible design. In-floor heating adds another layer of comfort, keeping the entire ensuite warm underfoot year-round.
